From November 21 to 23, 2023, the SKMA Library and Information Center held training sessions on the Scopus and Web of Science databases for master’s and doctoral students. The sessions covered the informational and analytical resources available in Scopus and Web of Science, along with effective methods for using these resources in scientific research.
During the training, the head of the doctoral and master’s sector, M. N. Mukhamediyarov, gave an online presentation on Scopus, explaining how to search for information within the database. Participants actively asked questions throughout the session and received detailed answers.
At the end of the event, network specialist I. S. Spataev assisted the doctoral and master’s students with registration on the Scopus and Web of Science websites, enabling them to use these resources for finding relevant information and selecting journals for publication.
