From 15 to 19 December 2025, the Reading Hall of the Library and Information Center hosted a comprehensive event, “Information Day,” featuring an exhibition and review of newly acquired books. The event was organized for the faculty members and students of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA). Its purpose was to ensure the widest and most multifaceted presentation of the library’s resources.
The library presented visitors with an expanded book exhibition covering all disciplines of the educational programs, featuring more than 200 titles of scientific, educational, and reference literature in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
Active participation was demonstrated by heads and staff of the following departments: Medical Biophysics and Information Technologies; Obstetrics and Gynecology; Pediatrics-1; Emergency Medicine and Nursing; Family Medicine; Phthisiopulmonology and Radiology; Propedeutics of Internal Diseases; History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines; Social and Humanitarian Disciplines; Microbiology, Virology and Immunology; Organization and Management of Pharmaceutical Affairs; Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmacognosy; Pharmacology; Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Pharmacology; Public Health and Healthcare, as well as the departments of the Medical College.
