On November 10, 2025, the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages together with the Library and Information Center of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy held a literary evening titled “The Great Teacher of the Nation – Akhmet Baitursynuly” aimed at promoting the creative legacy of AkhmetBaitursynuly.Library staff member A. M. Shokhibayeva delivered a presentation on the topic “AkhmetBaitursynuly — the Father of Kazakh Linguistics”, providing a detailed overview of the scholar’s works in the fields of linguistics and education.
During the literary evening, students performed selected works by A. Baitursynuly.At the conclusion of the event, participants visited a specially prepared book exhibition titled “A Great Man Who Loved His Nation”. The exhibition featured the works of AkhmetBaitursynuly — the founder of Kazakh linguistics, prominent scholar, educator, poet, talented publicist, and cultural figure who made significant contributions to the spiritual development of the Kazakh people — including “AqZhol”, “TilTagylymy”, “Masa”, and other publications. A review of articles published in periodicals was also presented, offering readers valuable insights into his life and legacy.
