From November 10 to 18, 2025, the Library and Information Center is conducting library and bibliographic training sessions for first-year students of the medical college enrolled in the educational programs Nursing, Dentistry, Orthopedic Dentistry, General Medicine, Midwifery, Pharmacy, and Applied Bachelor’s in Nursing.
The purpose of the training sessions titled “Fundamentals of Information and Bibliographic Literacy” is to:
- develop communication skills, including the ability to independently search for information according to academic needs; the ability to clearly formulate information requests; effective information retrieval skills; and the ability to work with the library’s electronic resources;
- promote the use of information technologies (through examples such as the electronic catalog, Internet resources, full-text databases, etc.) in educational activities;
- assist students in mastering information-search competencies necessary for writing term papers and graduation projects.
