From September 30 to October 4, 2024, the Library and Information Center’s reading hall hosted library-bibliographic sessions for first-year bachelor’s students in the Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Pediatrics, and Pharmaceutical Production Technology programs.

The purpose of the sessions, titled “Fundamentals of Information and Bibliographic Culture,” was to:

  • Develop communication skills, including learning how to conduct independent information searches aligned with educational needs, properly formulate information requests, conduct effective information searches, and process and use information for academic and research purposes.
  • Build competency in using electronic library resources.
  • Integrate information technologies (e.g., electronic catalogs, internet resources, full-text databases) into educational activities.
  • Provide guidance in information search skills essential for writing course papers, theses, and other academic projects.
