On October 22, 2024, an educational and historical informational hour titled “My Homeland – Kazakhstan” was held in the conference hall of the Library and Information Center of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, in collaboration with Branch No. 14 of the Centralized Public Library System of Shymkent. The event was dedicated to Republic Day, celebrated on October 25.
The head of the library branch, Rakhia Ashimovna Apasheva, addressed the students, highlighting the country’s significant achievements and milestones on the path to sovereignty. A video presentation titled “My Republic of Kazakhstan” was showcased for the audience.
Faculty member of the Medical Faculty, M. M. Karataeva, spoke about the opportunities available to young people in an independent Kazakhstan. Additionally, students recited poetry dedicated to the homeland. A thematic book exhibition was also organized in line with the event’s theme.
At the end of the event, students shared their impressions of the evening.
