On February 10, 2025, teachers of the Department of General Education of the Medical College of JSC SKMA together with teachers SarymsakovaZh. S., Isabekova A. A. and the library information center held a challenge among students “Give a book to a friend”, giving each other books they had read.
The books of great writers and poets of the Kazakh people were discussed, opinions were expressed about wisdom, about the role of a book in a person’s life, about the fact that it is a source of knowledge and culture. They talked about their favorite works, shared impressions of the books they had read, and gave each other books.
The head of the library information center DarbichevaRaushanIskakovna and the college librarian KuanyshbekovaYerkezhanAzimkhanovna made a speech, thanked all the students, and noted that it is necessary to form the process of giving books as a manifestation of respect between friends.
The goal is to increase the power of the book and instill a love for reading. A book is a good friend, spiritual food. So let’s give each other books with love!
